Measurement from the user’s perspective is carried out completely independently of the individual IT components. In addition, the XS agents break down the response time of an IT service into the individual dialogue steps and technical components, and in this way are able to identify in detail how much time is required for each process step – thereby supporting you in your continuous quality improvement process.
All XS agents run completely automatically – without any operator input – on PC systems running Microsoft Windows. A script simulates the keyboard input and mouse movements of a user and records the reactions of the system.

This kind of business case is monitored and documented on the basis of a refined, patented method – the reference transaction flow (model description of IT-based business cases).
The accumulation and correlation of data over time allows regional or organisation-specific evaluations and reports to be created at any time. The necessary synchronisation of all XS agents in the INFRA-XS® measurement field is achieved by a central time service, for example the Network Time Protocol (NTP).
