The central component for processing data from the INFRA-XS® measurement field. The data from the XS agents are processed on the XS server and written to a database.
This is used for generating evaluations and reports, which are made available in a web infrastructure or sent by e-mail. It provides pre-defined evaluation objects and controls access to the individual database back ends for the XS web consoles – e.g. via Internet Explorer. The XS web server is client-capable, and therefore guarantees individual user profiles and a high level of data security.
The central component for processing and distribution of administrative activities to one or more Pilot-XS agents.
The central monitoring and alarm component for the XS agents. It continuously checks the availability of the Problem-XS agents. The XS agents are dynamically self-registering on the XS problem server.
XS servers are the central processing components for the data gathered by the XS agents. They allow immediate visualisation of the measured data on the INFRA-XS® monitor, continuous monitoring of SLA threshold values and the sending of alarms based on individually configurable rules.
The data can be accessed in various logical structures. For example, the quality of an IT service can be viewed by geographic regions or according to the organisational structure of a company. Data can also be readily exchanged and results of system management tools integrated. INFRA-XS® visualises all existing data at a single user interface.
In the same way as current services are monitored, the company-wide provision of evaluations and reports runs via a web interface, thereby ensuring that INFRA-XS® users always have secure access to the measurements and evaluations. Evaluations and reports can be generated dynamically or statically. Time-consuming evaluations and reports, for example weekly or monthly availability reports, can be generated at defined times, and can be immediately accessed throughout the company.
