All solutions produced by Geyer & Weinig are aimed at improving the quality of IT-based processes within the company. The existing processes, hardware and software employed, the business environment and strategic corporate objectives provide the starting point for developing the key points of a tailored Service Level Management. All solutions evolved by Geyer & Weinig are oriented to the best practices of the de facto ITIL standard; the software suite Infra-XS^®, Geyer & Weinig's end-to-end monitoring tool, is explicitly ITIL-certificated.

Infra-XS^® provides the adequate solution for each customer's requirements; not least concerning monitoring methods. According to the task at hand, synthetic transactions or client capture techniques are applied. Due to fixed monitoring times, identical transaction flows, and geographical scalability, synthetic transactions, for instance, provide the ideal solution for the monitoring of Service Level Agreements. The client capture technique, on the other hand, is most suitable for the monitoring of business process-related transactions actually executed by users on their PCs.

Not only with regard to technology Geyer & Weinig offers you various possibilities; for the operation of the implemented solution you can as well choose from different options: end-to-end monitoring as Managed Service with full service operation, outsourced to G&W; in-house operation of the solution with body leasing from G&W; or purchase of a classical software licence with trainings for the operational staff.

With all of Geyer & Weinig's solutions, you have the possibility to gain hands-on experience. In a two-week pilot, for instance, monitor your own business process in your own IT infrastructure with Infra-XS^®. In a workshop following this trial period, the results of the end-to-end monitoring pilot will be discussed and analysed; together with your operations and SLM teams, we will try to draw conclusions from occurred events and incidents, and work out measures to improve the quality of the monitored IT services.
